Hi there, I am Sharon from New York, also known as Morgana on some of the different Star Wars Forums. I have been a great fan of Star Wars for all my life (my original tapes have long worn out, now replaced by the Blu Ray editions). Costuming has been a great hobby of mine for many years. My costumes range from Renaissance costumes, comic book characters (Shadowcat, and Dark Supergirl), and science fiction costumes. I have had a great time costuming in Star Wars costumes.
I am a member of the New York Jedi (a lightsaber chorography group where we create our own unique Jedi and Sith characters and put on stage shows.) I am also a member of the Rebel Legion where I have had a great time trooping as a Jedi and Battle Handmaiden Padme. One costume I do enjoy wearing at conventions is my silver and black Slave Leia costume.
My husband gave me my Slave Leia costume for Christmas in 2008. He knew that I tend to prefer silver over gold so he contacted Jamin to see if he could make one in that color scheme. I first wore my Slave Leia Costume to San Diego Comic Con in 2009. We had such a fantastic time there, especially making it a unique journey by driving cross country for it, and it was amazing meeting so many wonderful people at that con.

The Celebrations have become one of my all time favorite cons. I really look forward to running into old and new friends at that con. I usually make sure that at least one day I get to wear the Black and Silver Slave Leia costume the entire day. Of course the big Slave Leia shoot is a must attend at Celebration.

We have made Dragon Con a regular con to attend since 2010. When we are not putting on a show with the New York Jedi, I love wandering the con in various costumes, and meeting new people. It is a lot of fun getting to see everyone in the Slave Leia community that is able to make it out to Dragon Con and hang out for a while before we run off to another costume gathering.
